Finding Kids Who Love To Play When a major manufacture of children’s toys required a group of 8 to 10 year old boys for an on-air test for a segment on a highly rated television program, they turned to Ellison Associates. The company’s objective was to determine which of a group of new toys the boys would find appealing, and which they would ignore. The winning toy would be considered for production in the company’s line up. The project involved recruiting 15 boys from the tri-state area who enjoyed playing with many different types of toys. To meet the criteria, and be included in the final group, each child had to be aware of certain children’s characters and watch certain children’s programs. Ellison Associates screened the boys and their parents based on the client’s criteria. Accompanied by their parents, the group of children selected participated in the taping playing with several toys and choosing the one they liked the best. |
